I've got a MUFE(Makeup forever) hotpink eyeshadow(since a few weeks, just wanted to wait for the right outfit to try it out with)...or at least I thought it was eyeshadow, but turned out it is blush, but awe well I love it, it's the exact pink I have been searching for.
Though I am not to fond of the pricetag I absolutely love the fact that I did not have to wet my sponge applicator at all for it to last for hours. I blended it with my Sisley black eyeshadow.
Incase you're wondering about the number of the MUFE blush, it''s #73

Ladies and gentlemen: My point of view, words to some and words to self
Ladies, if a man is spoken for, don't talk that talk, but walk that walk (walk away from it)
Gentlemen, if a woman's got a man, be a man and let it go, understand?
Ladies, never use a child to keep a guy tied to you, love should be the thing that brings him back to you, not guilt or pleasure, babies are cute, babymommadrama is not.
Gentlemen, knocking her up will not make her want to stay, love should, so same goes to you, babydaddydrama is not cute either.
Ladies, never argue over a man, ofcourse, if someone lashes out at you , you are free to defend yourself, but goodness mercy, have some pride and avoid such a situation at all cost.
If your guy has cheated on you, handle the situation with him, discuss the matter and decide if you want to continue the relationship or not, the other woman has nothing to do with it as she simply is not a part of the relationship, that is why she is called the OTHER woman, your guy is the person that broke the commitment to you.Only exception for you to even want to confront the other woman is if she had the moral obligation to be loyal to you (friend, family...).
Gentlemen, the same goes to you, talk about her infidelity with her and make your decision either to continue working on the relationship or to walk away from it.Fighting(in more ways than one) the OTHER man, will only give a temporary ego boost, but it will not solve the issue at hand.
Ladies and gentlemen, be honest of your intentions, deception causes confiusion resulting into a painful realitycheck from a sculpted illusion.
Ladies and gentlemen, unless you can deal with the consequences of an open relationship, never bring someone else into the relationship, you might end up with more than what you've bargained for, in more ways than one.
Ladies and gentlemen, never lay hands on eachother to cause physical pain (with an exception of those that are into that sort of thing, but that is a whole different topic), never throw words at eachother to cause mental harm.
Respect eachother's boundaries, intimacy is a gift, not an obligation.
If you are not mature enough to deal with someone with kids, you should not be dating that person, it's a package deal, you can't cross the kid(s) off the list.Don't think "starting your own"family will erase the past, only cowards think that way or will agree to that, do you want to be a coward or settle for one?
And yes, dealing with someone with kids might involve having to face the ex, it is up to you and your partner to discuss what the boundaries are and/or how you will handle the situation. You will have to trust your partner or at the least give your partner the benefit of the doubt and avoid any (potential) drama at all cost, which also means not being the person causing it either, that is his/her child's mother/father and you will have to realise that kids come first in things and the best way to keep things civil, is by acting civil in the first place.
If you happen to be the ex, you will have to accept that the person you were with (whether you let the person go or vice versa) is with someone else, if the person really is meant to be wih you, love will bring him/her back.
Which also means not giving in to temptation while either one of you is still seeing someone, if you still have feelings for eachother, be a man/woman and end the relationship with the person you obviously are not as into as you thought, this also goes for childless exes.
As sweet as it is to be enthusiastic about your partner's kid(s), keep in mind that you can not automatically take place as a parent, that is something that has to grow and you will never replace the other parent, unless the other parent has never been/refuses to be in the picture.
Also...the child might not like you, for whatever reason, keep an open dialogue about it with your partner and have patience.
Ladies and gentlemen, keep in mind that NOTHING but LOVE can TRULY make a person come back out of their own free will.Don't settle for anything less than love if you know that you can't handle the grief that merely lust might have to offer.
And in conclusion, I would like to give the advice to stay true to yourselves...unless you're disturbed.....

Just singing :)
My new phone offers better possibilities where reocrding videos is concerned than my digital camera, where unfortunately the audio ended up being quite distorted.
Anyway...
Here are a few recent videos of me singing:
Singing Vision of love(Mariah Carey)
Singing How could an angel break my heart (Toni Braxton)
Singing a snippet of my own song "Come on"

My poem: Flaming lenses
FLAMING LENSES
Anything you feel
Anything you're thinking
Can be read within seconds
Without even blinking
Telling a tale
Without a written word
Repeating every single thing that you might have heard
Staring into them
One might get lost
But yet cannot help to peak
At whatever cost
Into the labyrinth of bliss
There is no doubt about it
Like a brilliant prose
One shall write home about it
And when you get angry the fire goes dim
Like a sea of shadows deep enough to swim
When you are happy the fire ignites
Like a supernova lighting the night
There is so much going on with them, you cannot pretend
Behind those flaming lenses the story never ends...
Anything you feel
Anything you're thinking
Can be read within seconds
Without even blinking
Telling a tale
Without a written word
Repeating every single thing that you might have heard
Staring into them
One might get lost
But yet cannot help to peak
At whatever cost

Sunny days :)
Hello there,
On the very first day that the signs of winter were starting to show it was also the same day that I had to go... on a trip that is, to the Caribbean!
Needless to say I had loads of fun, seeing my family, shopping, swimming, now and then partying, went to the movies and ofcourse simply enjoying the breathtaking scenery.
I finally have myself some cute dresses again, I was really missing that in my wardrobe.. but not anymore!!!!

Ok, now hear me out :)
As you may know, or may not know, or might've forgotten, I love to sing.
This is a recording of me freestyling, I had just learned the proper way of working with the noisegate and trust me, with that bad XLR cable I had I needed it.
Speaking of music...
So I came across my old music and me blog from 2005, which didn't have much of an audience(not saying that this blog necessarily has.), but I didn't really care, because it was music and me... my internal dialogue for whomever cared to read...
I used to be much more enthusiastic, every single aspect of discovering new things...
I've been more internal about that, at least where the internet is concerned.
Had plenty of musicequipment/musicproduction talks with kindred spirits offline though.
Anyway uhm... oh yea, check out:

You can listen to my track "Undercover love there, so feel free to check it out!

Hair me out...
Before you proceed I want to let you know that all the pictures in this blog-entry can be clicked on to view in a bigger size.
"BEST OF BOTH WORLDS"

Since I haven't been discussing hair in a while, I figured I'd do so.
As mentionned in one of my previous entries I had heatstyled my hair a while back and I figured I'd get a bit into that and also show you that my hair is still live and kicking after heatstyling it.
So here are some pictures to show you, the mobile pictutes being the most recent, been rocking low-maintenance poofy styles lately and loving it, humidity is my friend.

My regimen is still quite simple, usually just leaving in the conditioner on washday and maintaining it with a diluted conditioner spritzmix(Basically water, conditioner(mostly herbal essence hello hydration or totally twisted) diluted in cooled boiled water, jojoba oil, extra virgin olive oil, castor oil, glycerine, shaken well and sprayed onto my hair), I don't really do the gel look that much and when wearing headbands, my edges kind seem to behave with zero effort, so haven't been using any products for fly away curls, tying down a scarf for 20 minutes also goes a long way, but due to the humid weather I usually go for headbands if I don't want to be bothered for the rest of the day and it also takes care of potential bad hairdays, win-win situation.
Now on to the straightening of my hair...
I am going to be downright honest with you, as I am a sucker for longer hair, it was very tempting to not go back to the shrinkage and only wear stretched styles, especially since I had missed my hair brushing against my shoulders and caressing my upper-back area, but eventually I snapped out of it because I realised that I can have the best of both worlds whenever I please and since my face has gotten smaller and my layers are coming in a bit more where my hair is concerned, I don't have to worry about looking awkward and I've been wearing more out-styles (and welcoming single stranded knots! GAH!!!!), but then again, those single stranded knots were finding their way to my hair while I was bunning alot too anyway, alot of my hairstrands do their own thing, but awe well.
Before I show you the heatstyled pictures I will show you some pictures of my hair shortly before that:

The first day, I didn't apply as much heat, also as I didn't have proper rollers and blowdrying is not really my thing, the only heat applied was from the flat-iron.
My hair poofed up and I liked it, it pretty much resembled a blow-out basically.
Ofcourse the weather itself can be a blowdryer so that did the rest.
My friend loved it, saying it looked "Diana Ross"-ish(man I can't wait for it to grow to mid-back length!), which I loved since the lion-wannabe look is what I've been wanting to go for but never was able to do with it chemically altered despite the length (except after wash day without moisturising properly...but uh.. that looked more like finger in socket than lion-wannabe) and ofcourse once I went natural I didn't have the length to remotely pull it off yet, till that day.

A little bit sleeker, a few days later I decided to go for sleeker and took some pictures, my hair has the tendency to curl and poof up, so it got bigger just looking at it,lol...look

Sleeker and flipcurled, that same day since I had been wanting to flip/curl my hair, which I hadn't done since I've gona natural(due to length) and now felt I just might have the length to do it, I did it and was very pleased with the results!

No-heat added, day after look, due to sleeping with it in a bun, which gave it a whole different look:

I preserved the style for nearly two weeks without reapplying heat, maintaining it by sleeping with a satin scarf, showering with plastic showercap and applying a little squeeze of chi silk infusion either the night before putting the satin scarf and just undo and go, or the next morning, hardly had to do anything to it till the next wash.
What I basically did was shampoo and conditioned my hair, detangling it with the conditioner still in it, adding a teenie bit of chi silk infusion and braiding every section once I was done and sat under a heatcap with them to dry quicker.
I recommend rollersetting and to sit under a heatcap/dryer for an hour prior to flatironing for the best restults.
But since I didn't have the rollers I needed right there and then, I couldn't do that.
After that I unraveled each section and flat-ironed bit by bit.
I did not flat-iron in super small sections because I have quite a head full of hair and simply could not be bothered, but the best thing is to do it in small sections to get the sleekest results, might give it a try next time around...
Best thing is to not set the temperature any higher than 200 degrees celsius, 400 degrees farenheit to prevent heatdamage. The highest setting for me was 180 degrees celsius for the "sleek" look.
